Associate Nurse Unit Manager, Theatre suite
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and suitably qualified Division 1 nurse to lead our dedicated and established team in theatre.
Our 8 bed day surgery unit is attached to a modern, up-to-date operating theatre and supported with acute care services. The theatre suite including operating theatre, Anaesthetics, Recovery and Day Surgery is to be managed as one unit.
This is a permanent P/T position include 0.3 EFT for unit management duties total hours per fortnight negotiable.

Key selection criteria include:
Appropriate post graduate experience in Theatre
Demonstrated clinical skills within the scope of Day surgery and minor general surgery
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and the NSQHS accreditation process
A post graduate qualification in theatre and previous management experience would be viewed favourably
