Deb Stuart is a highly experienced health and human services Executive who operates from a values based philosophy and has expert contemporary knowledge of acute, community and primary care services across the life span. She holds a BSc. in Community Specialist Practice – University of Sussex, UK and is an Alumni of the Folio Community Leadership Victoria Program and a winner of the SACS Executive Leadership Award.
Most recently she was the CEO of Central Bayside Community Health Services for 5 years and led the organisation through a voluntary amalgamation completed in 2022. Prior to this Deb held several significant leadership roles at Monash Health. While her clinical background is in nursing, she has spent her professional life developing community based solutions and this, plus her strategic leadership style, has positively impacted decision making at an inter-disciplinary and inter-professional level within health, and health related organisations.
Deb has a strong track record in building collaborative relationships for mutually beneficial outcomes and instils a culture of excellence for patients, clients, staff and the broader community. She is passionate about encouraging and developing leaders and is also a mentor with VHA.
In addition to her current role, Deb was appointed as a Branch Councillor for ACHSM bringing her skills and knowledge of the health and community sector to the Council.
