Umesh is an experienced Laparoscopic and General Surgeon with 30 years of experience in India, USA, Australia and PNG, including 25 years of senior executive leadership across various health care sectors. Umesh has successfully worked in large hospital networks, the Joint Commission International, and governmental agencies; with a focus on quality improvement, accreditation, patient safety and healthcare system design, re-design and improvement. Umesh has been involved in setting up new hospitals from concept to operations, including medical educational institutes.
