About the Role

You will be our first point of contact, responsible for providing welcoming and professional service to patients, visitors and staff. The role will include face-to-face reception, patient records management, data entry, general support to other administration and clinical support areas when requested and delegated by Manager.

The role is two days a week. Shift hours are 9am-5pm and/or 6.45am-2.45pm, and days of work can be flexible. On the job training provided.

About You

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar is desirable.
  • Previous experience in administration and front office duties in a healthcare setting such as a medical practice, or hospital/day procedure centre.
  • You have excellent communication & people skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good with computers and sound knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. Previous experience with electronic Medical Records desirable.
  • Strong personal ethics and a conscientious approach.
  • Understanding of quality systems, continuous quality improvement and accreditation.
  • Understanding and appreciation of infection prevention and control within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage many different demands and work priorities.
